The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Vaasa today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Drooling Blast tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Helen Burns that came steaming ahead.




Rickie saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Gold Bonfire Momentum took the lead after 1000m. Brave Bandwagon didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Drooling Blast suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Gold Bonfire Momentum followed by Helen Burns and Obvezati. Lane two Brave Bandwagon followed by Drooling Blast and Tiny Paladin.



Brave Bandwagon speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Drooling Blast won. Helen Burns came in second. Brave Bandwagon caught third place.
