The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Träume Erfüllen could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Tricky Giggle, Victory Victoria, Lynx, Dancing Fall, Träume Erfüllen, Sleepy Bouquet, Velvets Victory, Loving Rocket.




Dancing Fall took the lead after 1000m. Victory Victoria didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Träume Erfüllen was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Lynx galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Victory Victoria looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Träume Erfüllen galoped for 30 m. Victory Victoria sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Veijo Heiskanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Tricky Giggle started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Victory Victoria didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
