The weather had been good all week and Lycksele was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Breaking Diamond found a gap and took the lead. Zuiver Zaakkundige followed before Ginger Nutcracker. Adorable Darkness was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

Ginger Nutcracker quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Cencio took the lead rather easily. Waving Heat suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Zuiver Zaakkundige won the race after a spectacular finish.
