It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





London By Night took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Flottant Rosier, Flamacue, Avustaja Ajonopeus, London By Night, Critical Mass, Happy Doll, Sneaking Wave, Falling Forest.




Sneaking Wave took the lead after 1000m. Flamacue didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sneaking Wave followed by Flamacue and London By Night. Lane two Avustaja Ajonopeus followed by Critical Mass and Derry.



Derry was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Avustaja Ajonopeus litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Sneaking Wave made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Flamacue.
