Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Round Goes Macy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Active Runner saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Sneaking Amazon showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. A bird flew just in front of King Caspian who started to galop and lost 50 m.

Active Runner was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Round Goes Macy looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Round Goes Macy sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Round Goes Macy were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Stefan Persson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Max Strategy started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Winner of todays race was Round Goes Macy. Active Runner came in second. Monsieur De Matin became third.
