Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Årjäng track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Vlam Glorie tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Duveteux that came steaming ahead.

Lonely Diamond saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Italo looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Lonely Diamond suddenly took over the lead. Italo gallopped 40 m after 2000m.

Lonely Diamond looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Vlam Glorie won the race after a spectacular finish.
