One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Chocolate Fontain was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Canadian Gift started to galop and lost 50 m. Charming Soldier quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Farbror Blå looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Whatever Dancer couldn't come out from behind the leader, Charming Soldier. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Charming Soldier today. It continued in the lead. Charming Soldier looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Petter Karlsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Listening Map started to galopp and lost 30 m. Farbror Blå sprinted over the finishline before Charming Soldier and Chocolate Fontain.
