One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jumping Bandwagon could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Speeding Lizard was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Jumping Bandwagon was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Jumping Bandwagon clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Giggling Sapphire suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Jumping Bandwagon followed by Tift and Cosmic Heat. Lane two Slow Judge followed by Black Momentum and Make Some Noice.



Slow Judge was first on the homestretch followed by Jumping Bandwagon and Tift.






Slow Judge kept the speed the whole finish and won before Tift and Black Momentum.
