One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Adonis took the lead after a very quick start.




Adonis was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Adonis clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Adonis was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Royal Hero gallopped for 10 m.



Adonis looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Adonis today who won before Heavy Energy and Royal Hero.
