One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Merci Encore found a gap and took the lead. Tempting Lilac followed before Late Bloomer.




Slaythemall quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Merci Encore who started to galop and lost 50 m. Edgy Rhapsody galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
