One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Queef Superior was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Oconomowoc started to galop and lost 30 m. Thomas Dalborg wanted a little to much in the start and Malkin Lion galoped for 40 m.




Oconomowoc quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Oconomowoc was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Canadian Gift took the lead after 1000m. Bégard didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Bégard galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Bégard sprinted over the finishline before Malkin Lion and Queef Superior.
