The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Lapua today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Can´t Capture sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Can´t Capture was in fine shape and held the lead. Cloudy Apple Hill was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Inkas Bonnie B took the lead after 1000m. Growing General didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Versailles Opal saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



With only a little left of the race Growing General galoped for 20 m. driver couldn't keep Cloudy Apple Hill to trotting so they were disqualified. Versailles Opal kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Cloudy Apple Hill galop. Cloudy Apple Hill lost 50 m.




Versailles Opal didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
