One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wolly Fiesta was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Gunnar Austevoll wanted a little to much in the start and Wolly Fiesta galoped for 30 m.

Speeding Action sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Staro Montana looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Wolly Fiesta suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
