The weather had been good all week and Skellefteå was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Final Stroke found a gap and took the lead. Aim Twice followed before For Good.




Variety Of Ways quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Den Mörkhyade sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Den Mörkhyade followed by For Good and Soft Touch. Lane two Final Stroke followed by Aim Twice and Running Biscuit.




Den Mörkhyade kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Den Mörkhyade were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Den Mörkhyade galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Final Stroke won the race after a spectacular finish.
