The weather had been good all week and Oviken was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Zymyrgys Law took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Cloudy Apple Hill sprinted to the front.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Cloudy Apple Hill were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Maradona Magpie won. Cloudy Apple Hill came in second. Zymyrgys Law caught third place.
