The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starstruck Velvet took the lead after a very quick start. Hard Bandwagon suddenly started to galop. Kenneth Haugstad had to struggle to get Hard Bandwagon to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




Hard Bandwagon saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Red Pill suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hard Bandwagon followed by Starstruck Velvet and Amazing Star. Lane two Deziree followed by Dans Le Peau and Red Pill.



Deziree was first on the homestretch followed by Hard Bandwagon and Starstruck Velvet.






Hard Bandwagon sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
