One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sudden Summer was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sunday Hope sprinted to the front. Tricky Flower started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sunday Hope followed by Magic Lilac and Glowing Drama. Lane two Sudden Summer followed by Nikita Opal and Tricky Flower.



Sunday Hope looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Nikita Opal was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Sunday Hope galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Sudden Summer sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
