One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Giant Power tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Athletic Bandwith that came steaming ahead. Katthammarsviks Albertina galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Michael Lönborg wanted a little to much in the start and Carlos Plaxton galoped for 30 m.
The leader got disturbed by something and Giant Power took the lead rather easily. Carlos Plaxton galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Katthammarsviks Albertina suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.
Halmstad Pegasos was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Carlos Plaxton galloped for 60m and was disqualified. The leader got disturbed by something and Giant Power took the lead rather easily.
Marc Elias tried a little too much on the homestretch and Gamay started to galopp and lost 10 m.
