It had been raining for several days at Rättvik but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Golden Striker.
Harm Nowhere ended up behind the leader.
Plein Gaz got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. King Of Warning was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Sergeant
Thrasher sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Søt Som Sukker sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Plein Gaz accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Plein Gaz sat safely in the lead after 2000m.
With only a little left of the race
Søt Som Sukker galoped for 10 m.
Plein Gaz were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Søt Som Sukker was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
Plein Gaz didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
