The weather had been good all week and Romme was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Advanced Comet sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Star Keeper saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Gentleman´s Blue Mantle who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Flying Power sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Gentleman´s Blue Mantle accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Gentleman´s Blue Mantle sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Advanced Comet galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Gentleman´s Blue Mantle kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep New York Dreamer to trotting so they were disqualified.
