Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Listening Wolf tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Meitnerio Vox that came steaming ahead. Siiri saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Meitnerio Vox sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Siiri accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Listening Wolf started to gallop after 1500m and Veijo Heiskanen had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Siiri were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Winner of todays race was Siiri. Meitnerio Vox came in second. Listening Wolf became third. Results
