One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Universe Empire sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Walcott started to galop and lost 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Portable Star, Calming Architecture, Universe Empire, High Hopes, Selleck, Homewrecker, Walcott, Fugitive.




Calming Architecture sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Portable Star accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Universe Empire seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Selleck galoped for 20 m. High Hopes speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Universe Empire never caught up with High Hopes who won. Portable Star came third.
