One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. L'Étoile Mystérieuse was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Verde Smeraldo saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Verde Smeraldo today. It continued in the lead. Verde Smeraldo kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. L'Étoile Mystérieuse galoped way to long and was disqualified. Winner of todays race was Verde Smeraldo. Sly Wave came in second. Waar Welk Dag became third. Results
