The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bianco Colomba took the lead after a very quick start. Erittäin Vahva was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Waar Welk Dag, No Cigar, Bianco Colomba, Cime Di Rapa, Rafaela Vidi, Erittäin Vahva, Dead Star, Old General.




The leader got disturbed by something and Cime Di Rapa took the lead rather easily. Waar Welk Dag was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Cime Di Rapa today. It continued in the lead. Waar Welk Dag galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Cime Di Rapa were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Bianco Colomba galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. No Cigar galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Winner of todays race was Cime Di Rapa. Dead Star came in second. Rafaela Vidi became third.
