One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lonely Star could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Gold Wonderwall sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Lonely Star took the lead rather easily.




Lonely Star was still in the lead after 1500m.




Leprevost put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Leprevost sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
