No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Calming Band showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. With only a little left of the race Rising Son galoped for 40 m. Michelangelo kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Hogmanay galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Pretty Wave won. Midnight Wolf came in second. Michelangelo caught third place.
