Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Trouvé Une Couronne could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Windy Oxzygo started to galop and lost 20 m.




Trembling Rose saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Honourable Striker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Elodie couldn't come out from behind the leader, Trembling Rose. Windy Oxzygo galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Trembling Rose was still in the lead after 1500m.



Elodie speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Malkin Lion won. Elodie came in second. Trouvé Une Couronne caught third place.
