One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Backstabbing Sugar found a gap and took the lead. Wimpy Top followed before Fierceful Dragon.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Wimpy Top sprinted to the front.




Backstabbing Sugar sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Backstabbing Sugar today. It continued in the lead.




Wimpy Top took the lead.



Wimpy Top kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Fierceful Dragon sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
