One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Falling Drama found a gap and took the lead. Vrijstelling Vuistvechter followed before Melody Rocker.

Competitive Dragon saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Melody Rocker who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Beaufrand took the lead after 1000m. Pampered Pony didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Vrijstelling Vuistvechter looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

driver couldn't keep Competitive Dragon to trotting so they were disqualified. Falling Drama was first on the homestretch followed by Vrijstelling Vuistvechter and Orton.

Vrijstelling Vuistvechter won. Falling Drama came in second. Orton caught third place.
