The sun was shining on Arvika and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Wondering Brightness tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Robber Robert that came steaming ahead. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Qui Vivra Verra looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Powerful Rocker couldn't come out from behind the leader, Wondering Brightness. Wondering Brightness was still in the lead after 1500m. Wondering Brightness kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Wondering Brightness were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Powerful Rocker kept the speed the whole finish and won before Wondering Brightness and Robber Robert.
