It had been raining for several days at Bjerke but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Contender took the lead after a very quick start.




Lavillenie saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The Contender took the lead after 1000m. Lavillenie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Lavillenie saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Lavillenie were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Lavillenie kept the speed the whole finish and won before The Contender and Participant.
