One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Lawless found a gap and took the lead.
Round Goes Macy followed before
Denaro Percorso. Round Goes Macy suddenly started to galop. Åke Svanstedt had to struggle to get Round Goes Macy to tror again and succeded after 10 m. When the startcar left the field Celtic Milwr started to galop and lost 30 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Falling
Boulder sprinted to the front.
Lawless sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Round Goes Macy showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Hiilihanko Ammattilainen suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Falling
Boulder started to gallop after 1500m and Johnny Takter had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Lawless didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.
Round Goes Macy was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.
With only a little left of the race
Galant Hoff galoped for 20 m.
Lawless looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
The Admiral made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before
Splendeur.
