One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hugh El Jewel Ameste was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Toppunt saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Slow Striker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Rational Fist couldn't come out from behind the leader, Toppunt.




Toppunt was still in the lead after 1500m.




Toppunt kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Toppunt looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Toppunt didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
