The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Feed Me Twice could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Canadian Gift quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Queen Kalla sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Queen Kalla followed by Glittering Twister and Glamorous Fox. Lane two Canadian Gift followed by Feed Me Twice and Singing Passion.



Queen Kalla were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Canadian Gift was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Feed Me Twice galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Glamorous Fox galop. Glamorous Fox lost 10 m.




Queen Kalla didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
