One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Honourable Striker was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Marinella saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Lyard took the lead after 1000m. Honourable Striker didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lyard followed by Moonlight Glam and Wolly Temptress. Lane two Honourable Striker followed by Marinella and Best Outro.



With only a little left of the race Wolly Temptress galoped for 30 m. Lyard looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
