One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Modest Garden was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Coco Star started to galop and lost 20 m.




Coco Star saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Coco Star was disturbed and galoped 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Chwyrligwgan who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Criminal Nation took the lead after 1000m. Modest Garden didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Criminal Nation was still in the lead after 1500m.




Modest Garden suddenly took over the lead.



Modest Garden sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Criminal Nation sprinted over the finishline before Coco Star and Modest Garden.
