It had been raining for several days at Oulu but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Tzipi Livni could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Tactical Success, , , , . Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of
Tactical Success who started to galop and lost 50 m.
Thai Mahal was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.
Tzipi Livni accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Thai Mahal was first on the homestretch followed by
The Black Pearl and
Tzipi Livni.
Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Tactical Success started to galopp and lost 50 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
Tactical Success galop.
Tactical Success lost 50 m.
Tactical Success won the race after a spectacular finish.
