One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mad Queen took the lead after a very quick start. Duquesne Whistle was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

Jumping Twister quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Experienced Folder took the lead after 1000m. Duquesne Whistle didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Experienced Folder followed by Love Tower and Jumping Twister. Lane two Mad Queen followed by Duquesne Whistle and .

Experienced Folder was still in the lead after 2000m.

Experienced Folder kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Iikka Nurmonen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Love Tower started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Experienced Folder kept the speed the whole finish and won before Mad Queen and Duquesne Whistle.
