The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Halmstad this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dreaming Technology was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Carlos Duke, Little Apple, Stalen Klassikaal, Insane Crystal, Boccie Ball, Independant Paladin, Hermione Granger Superior, Dreaming Technology. Carlos Duke was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Carlos Duke followed by Insane Crystal and Little Apple. Lane two Boccie Ball followed by Dreaming Technology and Independant Paladin.



Independant Paladin litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Veijo Heiskanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Boccie Ball started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Winner of todays race was Independant Paladin. Little Apple came in second. Insane Crystal became third.
