The weather had been good all week and Halmstad was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Golden Passion found a gap and took the lead. Galanta Damen followed before Hoping Blast.

Galanta Damen quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Ontario Superior galloped way to long and was disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Galanta Damen today. It continued in the lead.

Galanta Damen were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Winner of todays race was Galanta Damen. Golden Passion came in second. Hoping Blast became third.
