It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ghostly Wonder was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Paisley Hof saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Holy Sparkle looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Detroit Moussolou couldn't come out from behind the leader, Paisley Hof.




Ghostly Wonder accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Holy Sparkle took the lead. Paisley Hof was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



Detroit Moussolou litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Detroit Moussolou didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
