It had been raining for several days at Vaasa but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dead Force found a gap and took the lead. Tricky Lilac followed before Relaxing Lieutenant.




Strong Boulder saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Dead Force sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dead Force followed by Tricky Lilac and Grasping Forest. Lane two Relaxing Lieutenant followed by Strong Boulder and Brinkman.



Dead Force sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Heikki Hietanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Dead Force started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Tricky Lilac won. Relaxing Lieutenant came in second. Strong Boulder caught third place.
