Red Sapphire got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Naja suddenly started to galop. Kajsa Frick had to struggle to get Naja to tror again and succeded after 30 m. Red Sapphire was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Red Sapphire quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Mercier looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Port-au-prince Superior couldn't come out from behind the leader, Red Sapphire.

Port-au-prince Superior looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Port-au-prince Superior sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Ottawa Superior sprinted over the finishline before Port-au-prince Superior and Red Sapphire.
