One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Growing Missile tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Adélie that came steaming ahead.




Canada On Fire saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Light Arraow sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Light Arraow was still in the lead after 1500m.




Adélie put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Flying Motor suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Canada On Fire sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
