The sun was shining on Kajaani today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gioia Doro was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Sleeping Girl saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Twinkletoe was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Substance Élégante sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Substance Élégante was still in the lead after 1500m.



Substance Élégante were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Twinkletoe galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Substance Élégante didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
