One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Othello Riez found a gap and took the lead. Herra Arka Heppu followed before Oppsiktsvekkende. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m. When the startcar left the field Twice As Nice started to galop and lost 30 m.

Volante quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Othello Riez took the lead after 1000m. Herra Arka Heppu didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Othello Riez was still in the lead after 1500m. Moving Sword galloped for 50 m.

Othello Riez didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Lucky Flower galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.
