The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slimy Stone found a gap and took the lead. Opstille followed before Cosmic News. When the startcar left the field Beautiful Trap started to galop and lost 50 m. Wandering Cherry galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Slimy Stone was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Slimy Stone who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Beautiful Trap sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Slimy Stone accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Beautiful Trap to trotting so they were disqualified.




Slimy Stone was still in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Quick Sniper galoped for 30 m. Slimy Stone sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Cosmic News made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Opstille.
