One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Five Fingers sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Ojsan Bä Bä Vita Lamm saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Five Fingers galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Honourable Stereo sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. S.L. Aebischer galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Honourable Stereo was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Zellars Law gallopped for 40 m.

Honourable Stereo sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Colmar Ameste showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Cloudy Apple Hill won the race after a spectacular finish.
