One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Surrey Opal tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Light Legend that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Pink Duchess started to galop and lost 50 m. Surrey Opal quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. The leader got disturbed by something and Light Legend took the lead rather easily. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Light Legend today. It continued in the lead. Light Legend were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Light Legend kept the speed the whole finish and won before Pink Duchess and Surrey Opal. Results
