The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Solid Ground sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Portable Stereo quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Flying Moon started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Solid Ground sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Diary Of Jane galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Solid Ground today. It continued in the lead.




Solid Ground didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



driver couldn't keep Scoop to trotting so they were disqualified. Solid Ground looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Solid Ground kept the speed the whole finish and won before Perfect Thought and Sad Nova.
